Satu fungsi Windows 8 ni adalah anda perlu pergi hujung ke hujung untuk App, agak meletihkan sebenarnya, memandangkan Windows 8 adalah dibina untuk Touch Screen, bagi yang kempunan nak pakai Windows 8 macam saya, tapi hanya berbekalkan touchpad (jika tidak menggunakan mouse), anda boleh Setting Touchpad anda agar menjadi lebih sensitif dan laju. Laptop saya sendiri menggunakan Synaptics Pointing Device dimana saya rasa setiap laptop menggunakan driver ini. Untuk setting:

Pergi ke System Tray, cari Pointing Device anda, Klik kanan, dan pilih pada Pointing Device Propertise

Pergi ke Tab Pointer Option, Motion dan naikkan pointet speed..settle..:)

Buat USB Boot guna Linux Live

Orait, tutorial kali ini adalah bagaimana untuk buat Boot daripada USB, dan perisian kali ini cukup mudah iaitu Linux Live, boleh didapati dari web mereka disini

Apa yang menarik dengan perisian ini adalah stepnya yang cukup mudah dan tidak mengelirukan sesiapa yang baru berjinak-jinak menggunakan USB sebagai slot Boot.

Pilih USB anda, hati-hati semasa memilih, sila semak Path anda terlebih dahulu.

Pilih ISO anda

Pada Step 4, tinggalkan kosong pada kotak ketiga, pada kotak pertama dan kedua mengikut pilihan anda sendiri. Anda boleh sahaja Format USB anda terlebih dahulu atau 'Tick' sahaja kota kedua untuk format melalui LinuxLive ini.

Pada step 5, klik sahaja pada icon tersebut, dan siap.

Baru-baru ini, Microsoft telah melancarkan siri Windows terbaru, iaitu Windows 8, bagi pengguna-pengguna yang ingin mencuba OS terbaru ini, boleh sahaja download disini.

Saya pasti ramai lagi masih tidak yakin untuk menggunakan OS ini kerana sudah terbiasa dengan Windows7.
Untuk entry kali ini, tutorial bagaimana untuk install OS ini menjadikannya dual-boot.

Pastikan anda telah sedia ada Windows 7 dan yang penting adalah partition, bagi yang tidak tahu untuk membuat partition, rujuk tutorial ini
Dan bagi sesiapa tidak tahu untuk buat Boot melalui USB boleh rujuk tutorial ini

Extract iso tersebut kedalam flash drive, Run file 'Setup' didalam drive tersebut.

Masa proses setup, pilih pada Custom: Install Windows Only(advance), ini bagi elakkan anda kehilangan access untuk Windows 7 anda walaupun telah membuat partition.

Pilih destinasi disk partition anda, tunggu sehingga semua selesai,
Note: iso bagi Windows 8 ini mencecah sehingga 4gb, seeloknya menggunakan flash drive yang bersaiz besar. Siap !, proses instalasi Windows 8 ini amat pantas...:)

Buat partition menggunakan Computer Management

Entry kali ini adalah bagaimana untuk membuat partition menggunakan Computer Management dalam Windows 7, untuk apa buat partition ni?. Selalunya, Hard drive yang telah diparted kan digunakan untuk back up data, simpan file-file penting ataupun digunakan untuk boot OS lain. Sebelum ini telah wujud Partition Magic untuk part kan HD, tapi kali ini, Windows 7 datang dengan applikasinya sendiri.

Pergi ke Menu, dan taip 'Computer Management'

Pilih kepada local mana yang anda mahukan dan klik kanan, pilih pada Shrink Volume, hati-hati semasa pemilihan Local, kalau boleh, elakkan dari menggunakan local yang digunakan untuk OS asal, selalunya Local C:.

Proses identify ruangan yang ada.

Masukkan saiz: Note: 1GB=1000 MB,

Satu partition baru telah didapati, untuk aktifkan ruangan ini, Klik kanan dan pilih 'New Simple Volume' dan terus proceed. Selamat mencuba..:)
